Something just happened

My dad just came into my room to pass me the tickets. I was like, okay, thanks and goodbye. He was still standing there like a freak. So I told him again that I'll handle it, okay. He was still standing there like a statue, still looking at me with his sweaty face. Then he asked me again, "Is there anything I can do for you? If not, I will go." I was like NO. So he asked again," I am not going with you guys, right?" I answered," Should be." This was when he started to raise his voice and said,"So this is what I get? After all..." Then loss of words. I forgot to tell you that there was a problem with his brain and thinking system. I so wanted to point my middle finger at him. I so wanted to tell him to GO TO HELL and NEVER COME BACK. I wished I could demand him to give my mom back all the money he owned her, give up the master bedroom and never come back. His brain is like a 5-year old kid's mind, or worse than a 1 year old. I wished he could just disappear from my life, because I am so sick and tired of his presence now.

Hate my F-A-T-H-E-R

I freaking hate my father. He is so freaking suckish. I wished he never existed. HE IS A FREAKING ASS-HOLE. What the hell was that for just now? I just wanted a phone cable and he goes 'Why do you need it for? Where did get the phone from?'. The phone was one of tenants that he didn't want so he gave to my mom. I just wanted to transfer some stuff to the phone and MY FATHER told me that I shouldn't take it, he'll buy me a new one. I was like, WTH, I bet you mean buy YOURSELF a new one. I told him that what for buy a new one when there's already another one, and I told him that I'm gonna ask from the tenant's sister for it then. He was like 'Whatever'. I HATE HIM. He is just a free loader in my house which is not his and he NEVER buys stuff for me. Today, he just bought new shoes for himself and never said a word. Today, he spent $100+ for his phone bills! WHAT THE HELL. I feel so damn angry. You know what he thinks on the people he dislikes? He says that they looked down on him! What for? To save their skin? No!

He spends like A LOT. His wallet is always flowing out money, for HIMSELF. I was so upset when mom told me that her friend's husband asked her what if his children grow up and their boyfriends call them out for karaoke. So, he brought his children, one aged 5 and the other aged 12, to a karaoke pub! And my mom's friend told her that her husband spent about $300 for his children! I had NEVER been to a Karaoke pub before, NEVER ridden my own private car, NEVER been to countries that my father had been to before like Taiwan and Penang and etc etc. I am so freaking upset. My father is a jerk, is a loser and is an ass-hole. Thank god that he is not following us to our holiday to Japan. It would have been HORRIBLE.

Fun But Yet Tired

I was so happy that the day that we finally can come home early and enjoy not waking up in the early morning, but I had CCA, and I had to wait for TWO hours for the CCA to start. Plus, it ended at about 6 pm. It was a really interesting CCA, and now, I LOVE DRAMA!! What the Secondary One was involved in acting is a Fire Prevention Skit. I was like, what the hell. I really hate being the junior, because we had to like, be treated like babies. "Oh, are you alright?" or "What do you think?", the seniors will ask awkward questions which are for babies to us. I miss being a senior in my Primary School... It's so sad that the Muttons are not here on the radio today. I've got an interview with Strait Times this Sunday and I feel EXHAUSTED TODAY. I still heart Avril Lavigne. By the way, our English teacher today made us listen to Kelly Clarkson Because Of You for our English comprehension and I was like really singing but the guy who sat beside me kept wailing the chorus away. Esther told me that I sang really loudly (Oops). I MUST GET INTO KRANJI IDOL. JIA YOU, MEI LING!!

Counseling doesn't help

I feel all depressed today. My mom and I walked to school in the morning, and arrived to school quite early so I had time to hang out with my friends. My friends were randomly asking me to speak some phrases in Japanese and Burmese and had a great laugh. After the flag-raising, my Maths teacher called me out for some reason and asked me to follow her to the canteen where I saw other teachers with their students talking to one another there. It was weird having an one-to-one talk with teachers and there was nobody there to listen to us. I thought she wanted to talk to me about the Innovation Champ thing but instead, she asked about my family and what was really going on. I was kind of caught off guard, so she told me about the form which students had to fill in about their particular matters and I wrote about my father. I told her about him and how my family used to struggle when coming to Singapore while he was just minding his own business. I think it was like counseling. After the small talk, I went back to classroom and continued my lessons.

Even after all the fun things that happened in school, I still feel depresses about this. I don't know why, I just don't wish to do anything, or even revise for my tests which is tomorrow. I just want to be alone.

Singapore Zoo Outing 2010

More Old photos of the 2010s. Delphine, Genevieve and I (FHIF was away to Canada) went to the Singapore Zoo as a field trip after PSLE. We had this amazing race over there and we had to group into the 5 people group which we left out one (with Jemima in our group). So we told my form teacher, Mdm Teo, that Jemima's MOTHER was in our group too. Guess what? It worked!

Too long story, let me just get to the ending.

WE WON THE RACE!!! We got a 2GB Panda thumbdrive as the winning prize. Guess who got second prize? It was Zhan Wei, Marc Soo, Zhi Yang. Russell Leong and Yu Xuan's group. They won a freaking Ben's and Jerry's ice cream $5 voucher. Well, what can I say? Good for them!

Dad from Taiwan

Remember the last time I told you about my dad coming back from Taiwan? Well, I am not going to talk about him in this post because HE SUCKS. I am going to talk about this keychain that was bought from Taiwan. I think it's an exactly same one as FHIF used to have which she chained it at her wallet but sadly, the body dropped off and it didn't look pretty.Sad... It's so damn adorable!! I used to admire it at FHIF's wallet in school and look at the body bobble instead of the head (LOL). Anyways, I drew this heart tattoo on my knee as I wanted to let the silver marker ink come out so that I can use it to decorate my Newspaper cutting. It did look nice on my knee, didn't it? Admire the hearts, not my knees, people!

Back To the Unactiveness

Okay, I am back from school early as I have no stayback. And guess what? I GOT INTO DRAMA!!! YOOHOO!!! Hallelujah! The CCA starts this Thursday from 2.30p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (Wah lao, so late!) and I have to stay back for 3 days a week now. I'll be having my Common Tests the week after next week, which sucks, and my school teachers have not really taught us a lot of things yet. We just kept revising and revising the same things again and again. I am uploading my dresses and sweater which I bought on my trip to Central on this post and I won't talk much about it. I really hate it when on P.E days, we had to wear our P.E. attire inside our uniform and before P.E. we had to take it off, but during recess, we had to change back to uniform. What the hell. Random picture of me at the top :P

I have to study for my Common Tests now and install Norton into my computer. I really need FHIF to return my Sims 2 as they cost me a total of $100. Please, girl. It has been a really long day for me and my mom now knows how to use an IPhone (4).

How Unactive Of Me

Sorry!!! I haven't been posting for 2 days, because I was going for my yoga classes and after that, my mom and I went to Central at Clark Quay. The sad thing was that, MOST OF THE SHOPS WERE CLOSED and the few shops, they were either branded, or all the clothes cost more than $50. What a horrible shopping experience. Anyways, my mom and I were REALLY famished after yoga. So we went searching for a food court in Central, which Central is so high class that they don't even have a food court. So we went to eat at this small noodle shop which sold noodles (DUH!), and ate fishball noodles (WTH). It was really spicy that I stuck out my tongue like a mad dog, gasping for cool water vapor. So we left to look for something cold to eat or drink. We went into the Central Market, and looked for ice-cream, but all they sold were super expensive kinds of ice-cream like Hygadens or Magnium Gold (Did I spell it correctly??). So we had no choice, but to relieve our tongue with this costly ice-cream. They cost $5 each leh!!
Alamak! Better off buy mineral water!!!

Back to the plot. We went strolling around the place, looking for shops which were open. We went into the first shop, and they sold kitty shoes!! OMG!! I am obsessed with kitties!! Of course I went crazy. But guess what? Each pair of shoes cost $82!!! WTH!! I gave up and went to another shop. We went into another shop, and the clothes there were sooo pretty!! The staff told us that they were having a sale, buy 2 get 1 free. So I had to go crazy again. Most of the clothes they sold there were dresses, so I had to choose dresses and my mom chose the dresses for me. I think I beginning to be more girly now. I chose a jacket as a free gift, and was really happy. It's so damn difficult using an IPhone to write my blog, so I'll continue some other day! Cheers!!

I am officially a Teen

I just purchased this Teenage issue last night and I am obsessed with the magazine!!! I have about more than 5 issues of Teenage and I also own about 5 issues of Seventeen (the magazine). I really love reading magazines!! Teenage magazine is much thicker than Seventeen magazine but the topics in Seventeen magazine are much more interesting than the topics in Teenage magazine. The best thing about Teenage magazine is the free poster inside!!! But the issue which I bought yesterday contains 2 posters!!Awesome!! Sadly the poster is a picture of a Korean actor and the other is a male Taiwanese singer. I really want to win that Taylor Swift hamper!! That would be freaking awesome!! So please, Editor of teenage magazine, please let me win that hamper!! I will love you forever!! :D

Homework On CNY day >:(

Homework on Chinese New Year Day is basically the WRONG IDEA. Why do teachers have to give us homework on Chinese New Year?! Plus, most of my homework are Higher Chinese and I have no idea where to start >.<>

Then let me tell you about my class. There are 40 pupils in it: 23 girls and 17 boys. We have 2 class mentors, which we don't call them form teachers anymore. We also have a Class Representative (Class Monitor) and the Assistant Class Representative (Class Monitress). We also have a Secretary, a treasurer, Estate Manager, Welfare-Manager, NE Champ, E & E Manager (Environment Monitor), Innovation Champ and many other more which I have forgotten :P Esther Lee in my NYPS 6C 2010 class was the NE champ which one of our friends sabotaged her, and she had no idea on what was she supposed to do. I told her that she had to work closely with the Vice-Principals to organize NE programmes like the NE show we went last year, but all she could think about was the NE show. This was what our conversation sounds like:

Mei Ling (which is me): Congratulations, Esther! You are the NE champ of the class.

Esther: Thanks! But what am I suppose to do ah?

Mei Ling: I thought the teacher explained to you already?? You are supposed to work with the Vice-principals to organize the NE programmes like the NE show we went last year.

Esther: Oh, really ah? Yayyy, we can go to NE show again!!!

Mei Ling: No!! That's not what I meant!! There are many other activities other than NE show that you are going to help with.

Esther: Like what?

Mei Ling: Like the day camp we are going to have on Thursday, they wrote NE on the form, right?

Esther: Really ah? I didn't see leh... What??? Must work with Vice-Principals ah??

Mei Ling: Yes -.-!

Esther: But I'm not the only one,right??

Mei Ling: You are the only one in the class.

Esther: But there are other NE champs in other classes, right?? So there will be a lot of people! I just follow them can already what!

Mei Ling: But there are only 8 NE champs in the whole Sec 1, which is less than 10 and is not a lot of people.

Esther: Whaattt.... Aiya, never mind lah! Anyway, no programmes yet, right? Teacher never call me right? So I am safe! Let's go buy food lah.

Mei Ling: Okay... O.o

I have no idea what is going on in that girl's mind. Anyway, I am the Innovation Champ and my job is to be creative and represent my class with new ideas. Actually, our class had to vote for the different roles in the class. Some of the roles were unwanted by the pupils in the class so they had to nominate people, and that's how Esther got her NE champ because she was the only one who was nominated by the Assistant Class Representative (whose name is Esther, as well). I wasn't nominated, as I volunteered myself to be the Innovation Champ. I had another rival, who was a boy and wanted to be Innovation champ as well. So the class had to vote. Both of us had to close our eyes and are not able to see who votes for us. In the end I got the role :) I asked Esther how many people voted for the boy and she told me that there was none and almost the whole class voted for me. Well of course, I did my evil laugh silently to myself. Muahahaha. The boy then kept cursing me like saying,"Screw you, you hyperactive girl!" or "Darn you!" and blah blah blah. I guess he can't help with it.

Walking on CNY

Today is Chinese New Year first day, so Happy Chinese New Year! May you and your family glow with happiness! Anyways, the occasion was not really interesting for me. I woke up in the morning, ate biscuits for breakfast, helped my mom do the housework and cooking and ate dry noodles for lunch. I surfed the net the whole day, watching Youtube videos while my mom was doing her crochet. I did a couple of crochet with her but it didn't turn out well, so my mom and I got fed up and decided to go downstairs for a stroll. Thank god it wasn't raining anymore. We visited my old childcare centre that my mom placed me when I was K2 as she had to work for the family and didn't have time to take care of me. I still could not forget the times I had in the childcare. I cried most of the time, I was always scolded by the Indian mentor during the class. It wasn't happy memories, though. Unfortunately, I couldn't erase them from my memory.

Let's go on to happier things! My mom showed me this flower growing near the childcare and she said that the soft part in the flower is where the Buddha sits. It has a pleasant smell but the fruits that the flowers grow into are inedible. They look like coconuts, don't they? LAWLS :D

Chinese New Year Eve Offerings

All we did for Chinese New Eve was give offerings to my ancestors and pray for them. We ate a small family reunion dinner with a bunch of the rental dudes and there were like 3 dishes only: Roasted duck, beancurd soup and fried noodles (which I hate the most :P My mom cooked it because my dad liked it). We family members were doing our own things, for example, I'm blogging here, my mom is knitting and my dad is surfing the net. It's a boring Chinese New Year this year for me and I am really looking forward to reunite with my brother and sister. I really miss them a lot... I have to ace all my Maths tests, English tests, whatever tests in order to make my mom proud. Go, Mei Ling!

Anyways, while I was in Myanmar, I was kind of bored there and decided to brush up on my Photography skills. My boredness was cured and I hate my father's photography skills. When you ask him to take a picture with your camera, he'll start meddling with your camera or phone and take a very long time to take a shot. Also, when he is done taking the shot, the picture will either be blurred or wrongly taken. Argghh!!! Well, I guess it's better to take a picture on my own from now on.
